It was clear from both the state of the market and hearing directly from our clients that there was a strong need for a marketplace for hiring tech sales candidates. Hired exclusively services companies looking to hire candidates across tech – engineers, product, design, and QA – now they needed to expand into tech sales.
This initiative required me and my PM to fully understand what it means to hire someone in sales tech, the positions and qualifications, how they evaluate their qualification, and so much more. Hired being a marketplace, it was also important to understand how those candidates approach the hiring experience and their expectations.
SOLUTION (Employer experience)
Ability to filter and view candidate's recent sales experience & accomplishments and experience within each of their sales roles. Employers can also find candidates that fit their budget while filtering on base and on target earnings.
SOLUTION (Candidate experience)
Candidates are now able to update their experience during onboarding and the profile edit view to highlight their sales experience and accomplishments. Additionally they are able to update their target compensation including base and on target earnings.
