PROBLEM STATEMENT
Scheduling is a common pain point in any hiring process. The Hired marketplace has several features which attempt to solve this problem. However, we continue to hear feedback from both Employers and Candidates that scheduling an initial interview is frustrating. Hired’s value proposition is about making high-quality and high intent connections between Employers and Candidates. Yet, the long-term trend has been that an introduction on our platform is less and less likely to become an interview.
In order to maintain our promise of having high intent candidates we need to increase the number and percentage of introductions that turn into 1st interviews.
The initial effort was an A/B test to increase the number of interview requests sent with availability and scheduled intro calls at 150%. The second phase was the new and improved scheduling experience that increased the number of intros to 300%.
